Stacy Kline Senior Litigation Paralegal

Stacy Hansen’s interest in law and how it applies to families started at a very young age. Her pursuit of a deep understanding of this process led her to her position as a litigation paralegal and she never looked back! Stacy is passionate about providing a voice to children who otherwise do not have a method to be heard, and helping families navigate through some of the most difficult times in their lives, while maintaining a healthy environment for the children involved.

Stacy received her Associates degree in Paralegal Studies from Kaplan University, began her career as a litigation paralegal at a complex civil litigation firm in 2012, and quickly realized that litigation was a perfect fit. As a family law paralegal, Stacy is well versed in divorce and custody cases. Stacy also has extensive experience with criminal and CPS cases, giving her a specialized outlook on cases that fall outside of the box. As she has worked in Denton County for nearly the entirety of her 11 years as a litigation paralegal, she has a vast knowledge of the judicial system in Denton County. Stacy is well versed in the trial process and is an integral part of the team in preparing for hearings and trials. Stacy takes pride in helping to gain favorable outcomes for clients, and loves assisting clients through complex problems.

Stacy and her husband, Jeff, take great pleasure in their involvement with her son’s athletic endeavors, as well as exploring the outdoors in their UTV.

Stacy is excited to continue to grow in the field of family law with Petitt Family Law. “I am blessed to have found a firm that shares my passion for firm, yet compassionate, representation of family law clients and I am excited to add my experience to this wonderful staff to help our clients now, and in the future.”
